This pertains to the news item, ‘Board exam pattern’ to be followed for paramedic courses’ DE Sept 17.
There is no doubt that paramedics play an important role in the health industry of the State. Their role is as important as those of doctors and can’t be given less importance, as it being observed now.
The decision taken by Health Minister regarding streamlining the examination pattern is more than welcome. The irregularity in conducting exams was affecting the career chances of hundreds of students.
The Board Exam pattern as envisaged by the Minister will certainly improve the standard of paramedic courses. It will bring efficiency and punctuality among the students and will help in improving the healthcare mechanism in the State.
