UDHAMPUR, Aug 23: A delegation of Adarsh Colony, ward No 4 held protest demonstration demanding immediate repair of damaged street.
Earlier the delegation met with chairman of NGO, ‘Jio Aur Jine Do’, Tariq Shah, and submitted highlighting their demand. The delegation told Shah that their street is in miserable condition and has become accidental prone. Besides shopkeepers of Shah Market in order to get repaired the damaged drain approached the District administration, but nothing was done, they added.
Shah assured the delegation that the NGO is ready to fight for their grievances and in order to awake the administration from deep slumber, Ram Kumar Banotra along with hundred of workers demonstrated against the district administration as well as Municipal Council, Udhampur and raised slogans against them.
