EP Tenants Welfare Society demands ownership right

JAMMU, Aug 23: EP Tenants Welfare Society held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Inder Mohinder Tar Singh and discussed various issues.
The members of the society flayed the attitude of the Custodian Department and demanded ownership right.
While speaking, Inder Mohinder Tar Singh said that the movement for the ownership right has to be further strengthened for which they have already informed that a seminar would be held in near future.
This seminar shall be attended by the representatives of respective political parties, MPs, MLAs, NGOs and social groups so that their genuine demands could be raised at different platforms effectively.
He urged upon Prof Saif-Ud-Din Soz to make it possible that all the EP Tenants and the allottees of custodian land should be given ownership right.
He also urged Raman Bhalla, the Minister concerned to withdraw the record note and other notifications immediately as through these Custodian Department is penalising the helpless tenants.
Among others present were Suraj Parkash Sharma, Chairman, Jyoti Vaid, vice president, Sat Pal Saini and Daljit Singh, general secretaries and Romesh Sharma, publicity secretary.
