NEW DELHI, Sept 21:  President Pranab Mukherjee today warned that people will have to pay for the greed of a few, who indulge in wanton destruction of nature, which was adversely affecting climate all over the globe.
Speaking after receiving the first copy of a book Building a Just World: Essays in honour of Muchkund Dubey, the President quoting Mahatma Gandhi said ‘the earth had enough resources for our need, but not for our greed’.
‘’Those who desire the creation of a just world deserve a salute from us and Professor Dubey, who has endeavoured in this regard through purposive action in the form of policy and scholarship, is surely one of them,’’ he said, an official statement here said.
The book was formally released at Rashtrapati Bhavan here by Dr Kapila Vatsyayan, trustee, India International Centre, with the first copy being handed over to the President.
The book speaks of the desire of billions of people, who aspire to have the dream of a just world, fulfilled some day. The volume will help in understanding complex problems in the world today.  (UNI)
