Grand finale of Jammu’s Got Talent held

Jammu, Sept 21: The grand finale of Jammu’s Got Talent was held today with great fan and fare at Police auditorium Gulshan Ground here today. This colourful programme was aimed to bring out the talent of Jammu to the forefront in respect to the fields of dancing, acting and modelling respectively. The programme was organized Society for Environment, Education & Modern Art (SEEMA) in collaboration with Super Model Club Events which works for the cause to explore hidden talent among youngsters.
Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion while BJP leader Anil Gupta was the guest of honour and Ranjot Singh Nalwa was the special invitee on the occasion.
130 finalists took part in the programme and showed their skills in different dance, acting and modeling art forms. The show started with the lightening of traditional lamps by the dignitaries. Kumar Sahil, Voice of Himachal and Voice of Punjab & Pratik Modi judge the grand finale.
In his welcome address, Bhanu Pratap Singh Jamwal, organizer said that hundreds of youth of Jammu and Kashmir have been applied and 250 selected for training session. He added that 250 candidates have been given week long training in dancing, acting and modeling and other categories. A grand audition was also conducted at Wave Mall, Jammu and on September 18 final audition was held in which 130 candidates shortlisted and selected for Grand Finale.
He said that the main motive to organize ‘Jammu Got Talent’ was to explore hidden talent in the youth of the State so that they can be able to compete with the other talented youth of the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta stressed for putting all efforts to channelize the talent of youth. He appreciated organizers for organizing such events helping youth to explore their hidden talent. Kavinder expressed hope that such programme in future will also be organized in J&K.
Enthusiastic parents of the participants, people and office bearers of SEEMA and Super model Club Events were also present.
Later, the winners were given prizes by the dignitaries present on the occasion.
