JAMMU, Sept 22: The State Government today disengaged the Additional Advocate General, Jammu Vishal Sharma and Deputy Advocate General, Jammu, Parimoksh Seth with immediate effect.
An order in this regard was issued by the Government in Srinagar today. The axe has fallen on Mr Sharma and Mr Seth after the beef controversy and imposition of ban on the sale of beef in the State by Division Bench of High Court recently.
Both Mr Sharma and Mr Seth had appeared in the PIL seeking the directives from court of law for imposition of ban on sale of beef in the State. The Court issued directives to the administration to enforce the ban strictly in accordance to the law of the land.
