Mamta Singh for people’s participation in peace mission

JAMMU, Sept 23: Senior BJP leader and wife of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh has urged the people to take part in peace missions and help in restoration of total peace in trouble-torn State which saw lot of destruction and devastation over last 26 years.
Addressing a function organized by Shri Ram Chandra Mission at Gole Gujral here she said peace is imperative for development and we all irrespective of caste, creed, colour, religion and region should work for promotion of peace and restoration of old glory of the State which is globally known as mini India.
Mamta Singh who was the chief guest on the occasion said that the message of every religion is peace and brotherhood and they all have one goal to attain though their paths are different. This is the basic mantra of life and once the people will understand this every conflict will be over and there will be peace every where, she added.
She asked the people to organize such programmes and encouraged them to attend such functions.
On the occasion Raj Kumar Sarpanch Trilokpur who presided over the function raised the demands of the area with the chief guest. She assured them that she will pursue their demands with Government.
