JAMMU, Sept 23: A youth hailing from Meghalaya today died due to fall from the stairs of JDA Hotel here at General Bus Stand.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Desum Nangrun (26) son of Kanchan Lama, a resident of Latram Behi, district Jaintri, Meghalaya, this evening fell from the stairs of the JDA Hotel at Bus Stand reportedly due to fit of epilepsy.
The youth received serious injuries due to fall and was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting postmortem tomorrow.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
