DTTM organises debate competition

JAMMU, Sept 23: To mark the celebration of World Tourism Day, Department of Tourism and Travel Management, Central University of Jammu organized a debate competition among the students of the MBA and B. Voc of DTTM.
A total of 12 participants took part in the competition who spoke for and against the topic “Sustainable Tourism: A Reality or a Just another Marketing Catch Phrase”.
Dr. Pavinder Singh, Dean Students’ Welfare, CUJ, and Dr. Bhavana Arora, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, CUJ were the judges for the event. Arushi Kerni, B. Voc, DTTM, Krishma Rana, B. Voc, DTTM and Diksha Kapoor, 1st Semester, MBA, DTTM bagged the first, second and third positions respectively.
The Dean School of Business Studies and Head of DTTM, Prof. Deepak Raj Gupta delivered the presidential remarks Dr. Amit Gangotia, Convener of the Debate Competition delivered the formal vote of thanks. The event was conducted by Shalki Manhas,Research Scholar, DTTM,Central University of Jammu.
