LEH, (Ladakh), Sept 24: On the upcoming Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh elections, BJP MLA Ravinder Raina visited Marstlang, Choglamsar,Thiksay & Kharu areas of Leh and chalked out the strategy to be adopted during the campaigning.
Raina criticized the Congress for ignoring Ladakh in past. Lambasting Congress he said Congress only exploited the Ladakhies and did nothing for their betterment. He said BJP will sweep the elections.
He urged the youth to ensure the thumping majority of seats & uproot Congress from Leh as Congress backstabbed people if Ladakh and have a history of broken promises.
During the Raina’s tour many Congress leaders at Thiksay & Choglamsar joined BJP, prominent among those who joined are Nawang Stanzin, Phonstog Tashi, Son am Tsering, Tsering Tashi, Tsering Anchuk, Nawang Tundup, Tsering Tashi, Tsering Mattup & others. Raina while welcoming the Congressmen into BJP he said BJP will do justice with Leh in all aspect of life.
It may be recalled that during the Lok Sabha elections last year Ravinder Raina campaigned for the party in the region and visited far-flung areas to garner vote and support for Party candidate to ensure his victory at hustings.
This time again Mr Raina along with other BJP leaders has decided to visit every nook and corner of Leh district to ensure victory of the Party candidates in LAHDC elections.
