JAMMU, Sept 28: Stating that the protests by Congress leaders on the issue of cancelling postal stamps has once again exposed the Congress for its love, attachment and loyalty towards a particular family, BJP State spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan said that opposing the decision of the Union Government betrays its lack of any worthwhile issue to fight for.
“Unwarranted and unnecessary reaction by the senior Congress leaders of Jammu against cancellation of postal stamps of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi has now made it crystal clear that the Congress cannot think beyond Gandhi family”, said Rattan.
He added that the Congress had dozens of other leaders, who had better public standing in comparison to Indira Gandhi.
He reminded these so called loyalists of a particular family that BJP-led NDA Government has retained eminent figures under the new definitive theme of postal stamps.
