JAMMU, Sept 29: The body of an unidentified man, which was found hanging in forest area near ‘Pandav Gufa’ in Akhnoor town on September 26, was lying still unidentified in mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, the unidentified body of a male of age about 25 years was found hanging on the morning of September 26 by some locals in forest area near ‘Pandav Gufa’ in Akhnoor town. They informed the police which reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, for identification and postmortem.
A case in this connection has been registered at police station Akhnoor and investigations started. Any information about the deceased man could be given to SHO Akhnoor, Inspector Pushpinder Singh or SDPO Akhnoor, Naresh Singh on mobile numbers 9419147059 and 9419134002, respectively.
