JAAMU, Sep 29: This year’s Hindi Pakhwada-2015 celebration culminated at the Accountant General Office J&K, at Jammu which was a joint celebration by employees of all the three offices viz Audit, Accounts & Entitlement and RTI Jammu.
The function was presided over by K Subramaniam, Accountant General J&K (A&E) while Ravi Kumar from Doordarshan was the chief guest. The welcome address delivered by Ritika Bhatia, Principal Director, RTI, Jammu  The Hindi Pakhwada marked the holding of various completions in official language “Hindi” viz , essay writing, dictation,  word knowledge, debate, poetry recitation and quiz programme etc.
The curtain down ceremony began with the lightening of traditional lamp by the chief guest along with other dignitaries present on the occasion. At the inception, the office Hindi Magazine “Tawi Trang” was released at the hands of the chief guests along with K Subramaniam, amidst applaud from the audience. The major attraction of  the programme was participation from among the newly appointed young ones, having service of one year or more.
A thrilling cultural programme was also presented by the office artists on the occasion which was appreciated and applauded by all.
Ravi Kumar while speaking on the occasion congratulated the winners and also exhorted others to emulate them. He stressed upon the need of  doing their maximum work in Hindi, being employees of  the Centre Government. Among the dignitaries and officers present included Anjali Sharma, Assistant Director, Doordarshan, (Prof) SK Sharma, Raj Bhasha Adhikari, Doordarshan, RK Pandita and  DAG (A&E), Teg Singh. Vote of  thanks was presented by Meena Dhar.
