Four held with Rs 1.93 lakh stake money

JAMMU, Sept 29: Police arrested four persons alongwith Rs 1,93,600 stake money and playing cards from Marble Market area, falling under the jurisdiction of Channi Himmat police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Channi Himmat police station conducted raid in Marble Market area and arrested four persons alongwith Rs 1,93,600 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Amar Nath of Marathian Mohalla, Vishal Gupta, son of Puran Gupta of Nanak Nagar, Naresh Gupta, son of Dev Raj Gupta and Sanjay Gupta, son of Dev Raj Gupta of Purani Mandi.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Channi Himmat police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Channi Himmat police station Inspector Sajad Ahmed made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq Manhas, SP South Udhay Baskar Billa and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
