Governor, First Lady interact with artists

SRINAGAR, Sept 29: The week-long National Level Art Camp which was organized under the aegis of Raj Bhavan, in collaboration with the State Tourism Department concluded here today.
As many as nine artists from Jammu and Kashmir and other States in the country including Sangeeta Gupta, Dharmendra Rathore, Charan Sharma, Manish Pushkale, Nabibakhsh Mansoori, Shafi Chaman, Vijender Sharma and Vinod Sharma participated in the event, which was curated by K.K. Gandhi who also participated in the camp.
On the conclusion of the camp, the Governor and the Lady Governor held a luncheon interaction with the artists and thanked them for their valuable participation in the event. They appreciated the work done by the artists during the camp and observed that the effort will go a long way in inspiring the new entrants in the field of art.
The artists expressed gratitude for being provided an opportunity to visit Kashmir and unfold their creativity in the Valley, which they described as a great experience in their life.
