JAMMU, Sept 30: Sub-Registrar Jammu, Adnan Syed today restrained newly constituted Executive Committee and Working Committee of All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha from interfering in the functioning of the Sabha.
The direction was passed in a petition filed by Madan Lal, General Secretary of All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha wherein it was submitted that Executive Committee and Working Committee of All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha unilaterally formed by the defendant on July 15, 2015 was illegal and against the provisions of Constitution of Sabha.
The petitioner prayed for declaration of Executive Committee and Working Committee as null & void abnitio and non-est being framed without the consent, knowledge and consultation of plaintiff (elected General Secretary).
After hearing Senior Advocate BS Slathia with Advocate Pawan Kumar Manni, court issued notice to respondents and in the meanwhile ordered that the operation of decision whereby Executive Committee and Working Committee were formed shall remain in abeyance. Moreover, non-applicant was restrained from creating any hurdle in smooth functioning of Sabha till filing of objections from other side.
