JAMMU, Sept 30: Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) has warned the Government to publish the 2nd list of regularization of technocrats before the commencement of State Assembly Session or be ready to face a mass protest on October 4.
Addressing a press conference here at Press Club regarding delay in the publication of the 2nd phase regularization list which was due for publication in April 2015 as per Cabinet order, Dr Surinder Radotra, JKATA president, said that this was the duty of the Government to publish the list of regularization in April 2015 but the Government failed due to which the Agriculture Technocrats of both the regions are struggling in upbringing their families.
Dr Radotra said we are unable to understand why the list is been delayed as we know that the first list was published after the delay of 11 months. “This means that we have to come on roads once again for the regularization lists of 2nd and 3rd phase”, he said adding this is the failure of the State Government as the policy is clear that the candidates will be regularized after completion of 7 years of satisfactory services in three phases i.e. 1st Phase on April 2014, 2nd Phase in April 2015 and 3rd Phase in April 2016.
Dr Maneet Singh, senior vice-president, JKATA, said that Government should talk to us if there is any problem in the publication of regularization list. He said this delay in publication of list is compelling us to take harsh steps in coming days as we have given enough time to Government to resolve the issue.
