SRINAGAR, Oct 1: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Kashmir, today observed its 16th formation day in an impressive function held at Sri Pratap Higher Secondary School auditorium here.
The rank and file of BSNL was present in the function in which GMT BSNL Kashmir D K Agrawal was the chief guest. On the occasion, the BSNL felicitated its officers and staff for the distinguished services provided after the September 2014 flood in Valley.
Besides, the officers and staff who provided valuable contribution towards providing the telecom services for recently concluded Amarnath Yatra were also felicitated.
The BSNL Kashmir also recognized the services provided by its franchises, channel partners, vendors and retailers. In the event, special awards were given in recognition to the selfless service provided in the immediate wake of the floods to six dare devils who risked their life for the restoration of the telecom services and rescue of stranded BSNL personnel.
Those who were present on the occasion include MG Mufti (DGM), NA Joo (DGM) and GL Koul (DGM).
