BJP takes strong exception to statement of PCC chief

JAMMU, Oct 2: The BJP today  strongly criticised the statements made by Pradesh Congress Committee recently at a public function.
Pointing out the ambiguity in PCC chief’s words, State spokesperson, Arun Kumar Gupta said, “Congress cannot simply make random statements in the public domain over the coalition Government exploiting or misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir. If they think the Government has exploited the citizens, they need to clearly say what they even mean.”
Gupta also charged the Congress of ineffective administration in the State of 67 years. He said, “Anyone from Jammu division can explain the gross neglect by Congress towards the Winter Capital for 67 years. Their administration over successive decades left Jammu in chaos. There is no foundation to the governance structure here, he added.
He said Jammu has seen underdevelopment, unemployment, poor literacy and so much more that has led to a relationship of general mistrust between the citizens and the administration.
Providing insights on BJP’s corrective measures for bettering the trust deficit that exists in the State, the State spokesperson said, “the BJP has been working hard on the ground for the last six months. The Party has simply not been adding members for the sake of numbers. The BJP members are being trained at the moment such that the benefits of Central Schemes can percolate down to the booth level, he added.”
