NIA bounties on 6 militants

SRINAGAR, Oct 2: National Investigation Agency (NIA), probing August 5 attack on Border Security Force (BSF) convoy at Udhampur, has announced cash reward on six Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants through posters in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The posters written in Urdu and English, were pasted by the NIA at different places in Pulwama including Kakapora hamlet.
The NIA announced cash rewards for informants leading to arrest of these militants which include LeT commander Abu Dujana, who is deputy of outfit’s divisional commander and Udhampur attack mastermind Abu Qasim.
The others include militants include Adil Sher Gujri alias Abu Baqir of Handarpora in Kakapora (LeT), Mu’een Kachroo alias Altaf Dar of Hawoora in Kulgam district (HM), Aashiq Hussain Bhat alias Ubaia of Chursoo in Awantipora (LeT), Majid Zargar alias Talha of Qoimoh in Kulgam (LeT) and Manzoor Ahmad Bhat alias Fahadullah of Samboora in Pampore (LeT).
The NIA has announced Rs 8 lakh each on the heads of Dujana, Adil and Mu’een while Rs 5 lakh have been announced on the heads of Ashiq, Majid and Manzoor. The NIA has given two mobile numbers, an email and a postal address for information sharing.
Last month on September 3, the NIA in the same way announced Rs 10 lakh cash reward on Abu Qasim and Rs 5 lakh on Abu Okasha.
It must be mentioned here that the security forces along with locals had managed to nab one of the attackers in Udhampur who was later identified as Naved of Pakistan.
