JAMMU, Aug 25: The Samajwadi Party Migrant wing in a meeting today under the leadership of Mr Labroo expressed grave concern over the scarcity of drinking water at Jagti township.
In an appeal to Relief authorities Mr Labroo urged them to take immediate steps in restoration of water supply to the Jagti township as the camp inmates are facing many hardships due to scarcity of water.
The meeting demanded that immediate steps be taken to clear the silt from the head of the water supply plant of Jagti which has hampered the water supply to the township so that the people are relieved of the problem.
Labroo said acute water scarcity in the township has forced the people to dug the hand pumps which too can’t be a solution to the problem.
