DODA, Oct 4: Government Higher Secondary School (Boys) Doda celebrated its Annual Day with great pump and show.
Deputy Commissioner Doda, Bhupinder Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion besides SSP Doda Z.N Manhas, ACR Doda Vaibhav Kohli among others attended the function organized last Wednesday.
The programme began with traditional lighting of lamp followed by annual school report by the Principal of the institution Tanveer Ahmed Wani. The achievements of the school in academics, board results, co-curricular activities and sports in the session 2014-15 were also highlighted by him.
This was followed by the presentation of school Trana composed by Mohammad Hafeez Shiekh especially for the institution. The programme was wonderfully present by the students and it reflected the picture of composite India. The presentation of Bhangra dance by the students kept the audience spell bound.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr Zamsheed Ahmed.
The function concluded with a speech by chief guest and presentation of awards to felicitate the winners and toppers.
