JAMMU, Aug 25: Municipal & Urban Local Bodies Pensioners Association in a meeting here today held under the chairmanship of B S Jamwal its president has expressed grave concern over the non disbursement of second installment of 6th Pay Commission arrears to Municipal and Urban Local Bodies pensioners by J&K Bank Ltd.
The meeting said the Finance Department has also not yet released the funds for gratuity and commutation despite several requests made to them. The meeting warned that in case the JK Bank and Finance Department failed to solve these demands by the next month, the pensioners will be forced hold protest in front of J&K Bank Zonal Office and Treasury Office.
