NYC volunteers threaten ‘harsh steps’

Srinagar, Oct 5: National Youth Corps (NYC) volunteers who are on hunger strike since September first have threatened Government with ‘harsh steps’ if their demands are not met by 15th of this month.
In a statement here, the NYC State president Asif Ali Bhat warned the Government, saying “he will set himself ablaze outside the residence of Education Minister Nayeem Akhtar”.
He said that the Government would be entirely responsible for the consequences and urged it to implement the Cabinet order of 2014.
