Srinagar, Oct 6: As many as 13 members raised the issues of public importance in the Legislative Council during Zero Hour here today.
Vibodh Gupta demanded early release of selection list of physical teachers and other selection lists for the posts in various departments for which interviews have already been conducted by SSRB in Rajouri district. He also urged for regularization of PHE daily wagers who are observing hunger strike.
Surinder Kumar Choudhary projected the issue of shortage of potable water in Nowshera and other adjoining hilly areas of district Rajouri due to lack of adequate staff in PHE Department.
Ajatshatru Singh demanded Critical Care Ambulances and Helicopters in far flung areas for immediate lifting of patients who require quick treatments. He also demanded strict check on overloading of vehicles and fitness test after every five years.
