Durga Nagar residents’ plea to Transport Minister

JAMMU, Oct 6: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee in its meeting here, today has expressed grave concern over the changing of route of matadors plying via Durga Nagar area putting the people of the locality to many hardships.
The meeting which was chaired by Roshan Lal Raina and addressed by M L Pandita its general secretary said that despite the assurance of RTO that five minibuses will ply to Durga Nagar and stay at Durga Nagar Stand while three minibuses will ply to adjoining areas but the same has not been implemented on ground with the result the commuters especially school and college going students are facing problems.
The meeting has sought the personnel intervention of Minister of Transport in the matter.
