JAMMU, Oct 8: RBA Category Forum president Vijay Koul Budgami has criticized the Government for depriving the migrants belonging to RBA area of the Valley of the benefits under the said category.
In a statement issued here today, he said the deferment of the decision by the previous Government has led to a lot of resentment among the displaced people. He said the bureaucratic wrangles and discriminatory attitude towards the displaced Pandits has been cause of depriving the community of RBA benefits.
Mr Budgami in an peal to Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed sought his intervention in the matter and urged him to issue directives to concerned secretaries especially the Revenue Secretary to produce the details of the migration list before the Cabinet in the next meeting. He demanded that deferment ban be totally lifted.
