SRINAGAR, Oct 9: Directing authorities to arrest all those who are hoisting Pakistani flags, Speaker of Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta today asked police to release two youths who have hoisted tri-colour at Lal Chowk early today.
When the House was in session, the Speaker informed that it has been brought to his notice that two youths were arrested by police for hoisting national flag at Lal Chowk earlier today.
Those who hoist Pak flag should be arrested not those who raise Indian flag, Gupta said in the House pointing towards Director General of Police, K Rajendra Kumar.
Two youths, one identified as Sachin Kumar from R S Pura were taken away by police after they were surrounded by some people after they hoisted national flag on a tower in the Lal Chowk area.
