Kargil, Oct 12: A National Integration Tour for the veterans Moulvis of Kargil district was flagged off by Haji Mohd Hanifa Jan, Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC Kargil and Commander, Kargil Sentinal Brigade.
The tour team comprises of 20 elderly persons and Moulvis of Kargil District.  During the ten days tour, the participants will witness the rich cultural heritage of India.  They will visit Dargah of Hazarat Nizamuddin, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Qutub Minar & Meena Bazar in Delhi on way to Ajmer Sharif.  In Ajmer city, the team will visit Adhai Din ka Jhopara, Ana Sagar lake, Akbar Palace & holy shrine of Dargah-e-Sharif which would enable the participants to pay obeisance at the revered shrine & fulfil their spiritual desire.
Apart from operational duties along the line of control, the Army under the aegis of 14 Corps is also committed to win the hearts and minds of the AWAAM by addressing their core problems and thus contribute towards overall development.
