JAMMU, Oct 12: A man hailing from Pallanwala in Akhnoor today succumbed to his burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Kuldeep Kumar (40) son of Balram, a resident of Pallanwala, was shifted here at GMCH with critical burn injuries on October 9 after he allegedly set himself on fire by sprinkling kerosene on his body.
“However, the man succumbed to his injuries today”, the spokesman said adding the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting postmortem tomorrow.
