TWA demands early release of DPC list

JAMMU, Aug 26: A monthly meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Teacher’s Welfare Association (TWA) was held today under the chairmanship of its president, Jasmeet Singh Madaan, wherein they discussed their demands.
The meeting expressed hope for the early release of lists of DPC of HMs list, Masters’ Grade, Class IV, Lab Assistants, Junior Assistants, Water Women’s Regularization etc.
It was also demanded in the meeting that the seniority list of Masters working in Jammu division be maintained at par with their counterparts working in Kashmir valley, who stands already promoted.
All the participants expressed their satisfaction in the functioning of Education Department at the division and district Jammu level for improvement in education scenario, maintaining transparency particularly in the selection of ReT teachers, strict adherence maintained in the adjustment policy and early disposal of GP fund cases.
It was decided unanimously that the TWA will extend full cooperation to the DSE, Jammu and CEO, Jammu in their endeavours to improve the working conditions of the teachers community.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Bishan Dass, Imtiaz Ahmed, Irfan Ahmed, Ajit Singh and many others.
