Shiv Sena to contest Municipal elections independently

JAMMU, Oct 15: Shiv Sena today announced that in the coming Municipal Corporation  elections it will contest on all the seats independently.
The announcement in this regard was made by Krupal Balaji Tumane, Member Parliament and Vinay Shukla, Parbhari of most states of Shiv Sena flanked by State president, Dimpy Kohli and Rakesh Gupta, State chairman, during a joint press conference held here today.
The Shiv Sena leaders also lambasted the State Government particularly coalition partner BJP for its failure in fulfilling the aspiration of Jammu people who voted overwhelmingly for the party.
The leaders said, “The promises which the BJP made to the people of Jammu in their vision document are bunch of lies, as issues of PoK refugees for one time settlement and settlement of West Pakistan refugees were still hanging”.
They said that it is very unfortunate that this coalition Government has put 12.5 % service tax on helicopter service for pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi and BJP could not revoke this notification despite being a coalition partner in the Government. They demanded immediate withdrawal of tax on chopper service.
It was also announced that five members adhoc committee will be formed under the championship of State president Dimpy Kohli and General Secretary GI Singh will be the Coordinator of that committee.
Other prominent leaders present were Sandeep Bhagat, Sanjeev Kohli and Vinay Gupta.
