JAMMU, Oct 17: All Displaced Kashmiri Pandit United Forum (ADKPUF) in its meeting at Durga Nagar today held under the chairmanship of D N Kissu urged the Government to address the problems of internally displaced Kashmiri Pandit Community.
Addressing the meeting MR Kissu said the return of KPs to Valley is a highly sensitive political issue and it can only be addressed at the political level. The State Government does not inspire any confidence in the displaced Pandits that co-existence would be possible in Kashmir. He said the KPs are decent and God fearing people with deep rooted cultural and religious moorings which can’t be witness to any disrespect to their nation and the Tricolour.
He said the return is only possible in carving out a separate homeland for seven lakh people within Valley with free flow of Indian Constitution and respect for Indian values.
He lambasted the Government for its delaying tactics in implementation of PM’s employment package for KP youth. Prof G L Koul, chief advisor, P L Sudeshi, president, Chaman Lal Koul vice president, Badri Nath Niranjan Nath Bhat, Mohan Bali, Chaman Lal Zutshi and M L Bhat were present during the meeting.
