Alumni meet, placement drive at Dogra college

JAMMU, Oct 17: Former Education Minister and chairman of  Dogra Group of  Colleges has said that youth from J&K have been deprived of their legitimate opportunities in employment sector for the last 25 years.
While  inaugurating a placement drive by Udaan in the college complex here today Mr Charak asked the educated youth to take benefits of  employment opportunities being provided through Udaan.
This drive was sponsored for Intercontinental Marketing Service (IMS), a US based company. A large number of  students of Dogra Group of Colleges participated in it, whereby the Udaan – a unique partnership between the corporates, NSDC and the Youth of Jammu and Kashmir was represented by Ms Divya Gill, Project Manager, Ms Priya Bhat, Project Associate and Neha Pandita as Project Consultant.
SC Khajuria, Director Adm described the day as historic as the placement agencies are making beeline in the Dogra Group of Colleges, for which he complimented the chairman and the secretary Dogra Educational Trust,  Samar Dev Singh Charak.
There was a huge confluence of all those who have studied in the Dogra Degree College at its Alumni meet. This was inaugurated by the chairman of the Dogra Educational Trust, who in his address exhorted the students to put in their very best, since Dogra Degree College has been imparting value based education. SD Singh Charak lauded the efforts of those who have brought laurels to the Dogra Degree College for their outstanding achievements.
