RAJOURI, Oct 19: Accelerating the pace of development works in Rajouri district, the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Vibodh Gupta today inaugurated a transformer of 63 KVA capacity for the Sranoo village in Danghari area of Rajouri.
The transformer was sanctioned by the MLC under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Speaking on the occasion, MLC congratulated the people over the installation of the transformer which is the long pending demand of the people who were living in the darkness for the past many years.
Vibodh also said the areas of Rajouri which are facing the problem of low voltage and unscheduled power cuts are kept on priority and in the coming days, installation of new transformers and upgradation of transformers in those areas will take place. He also asked the people to use the power judicially and pay their power bills on time.
