UDHAMPUR, Oct 25: Two persons died and two others were injured in separate road accidents in Udhampur district, here today.
A motorcyclist was knocked to death while his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when a truck hit their bike near Splai Morh. The deceased motorcyclist was identified as Mahinder Singh (60), son of Chandu Ram of Katra. The injured, identified as Smail son of Sikander of Katra, has been admitted in hospital.
Another person died when an unidentified vehicle hit him while crossing road. The deceased was identified as Kuldeep Kumar (30) son of Girdhari Lal of Channi Morh, Dhar Road Udhampur.
Meanwhile, a Scooty bearing registration number JK0AD-1448, skidded off the road resulting into injuries to one Shashi Kant son of Inder Jeet of MES Quarters, Dhar Road Udhampur.
