JAMMU, Oct. 25: A new complex of Gaushala at Jandrah, constructed by Jammu Kashmir Gao Raksha Samiti, was inaugurated today.
On the occasion, a Yagya was also performed, in which about three hundred people took part. The Gaushala complex, constructed in the memory of renowned Sanskrit Scholar and President awardees Pt. Mool Raj Shastri, was inaugurated by renowned educationist I D Soni, in the presence of president, Jammu Kashmir Gao Raksha Samiti Surinder Sharma, general secretary Gyatnandan Jain, Sarpanch Anil Sharma and others.
The Gaushala at Jandrah was started about 20 years back by the inspiration of Pt Mool Raj Shastri and co-operation of the people of Jandrah.
Other dignitaries, who were present there, included Yog Raj Sharma , Sunil Kohli , D.K. Varma, Chander Mouli Sharma, Raj Kumar Sharma, Som Dutt Sharma, Nand Kishore Sharma and other citizens of Jandrah.
