JAMMU, Oct 26: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) is observing ‘vigilance awareness week’ from today till October 31 in its all offices falling under Northern Region Transmission System-II.
During the week, several programmes are being organized in various schools and colleges apart from site offices for creating awareness among the general masses, youth, employees and their family members highlighting evils of corruption and its impact on our society.
On the first day of the week today at its NRTS-II Regional Headquaters, Jammu, pledge was administered to all the employees of PGCIL by the Executive Director, SK Sharma. He impressed upon the employees to practice the virtues of integrity and honesty in all spheres of their lives.
Messages of President of India, Vice-President of India, Prime Minister of India, Home Minister of India, Chief Justice of India as well as Comptroller and Auditor General of India were read out by Amarjit, General Manager, AK Pal, General Manager (AM), SD Joshi, General Manager (Projects), Ajay Holani, Additional General Manager (PESM), RN Sen, DGM (C&M) and B Dash DGM (Finance), respectively.
Message released by Central Vigilance Commissioner, KV Chowdary and vigilance commissioners– Rajiv and TM Bhasin on behalf of Central Vigilance Commission was read out by Paramjit Singh, Chahal Additional General Manager (Vigilance).
