Cross-LoC trade suspended

Srinagar, Oct 27: The cross-LoC trade come to a halt today as inclement weather caused landslides and flooding along the road leading to Muzaffarabad in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
An official told Excelsior that that there have been landslides from other side due to rains. “And from our side, there is flooding along the road,” he said, adding that due to these factors, the trade has come to a halt.
He said the efforts are being made to restore the road connectivity. “As of now, the heavy vehicles can’t ply but we hope that it would be resorted in just one or two days,” the official said.
Meanwhile, the Mughal Road in south Kashmir was thrown open for the traffic after remaining closed due to heavy snowfall.
