JAMMU, Oct 27: A Joint meeting of Pradesh Congress Committee (Migrant Cell) J&K and Soan Kashmir Front J&K was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, co-convenor of Pradesh Congress Committee (Migrant Cell) and President Soan Kashmir Front.
Addressing the meeting Shadi Lal Pandita has expressed his grave concern over the prevailing conditions of the Kashmiri migrants. He said that during election campaign leaders of PDP & BJP had assured permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit migrant community in Kashmir Valley with providing of employment package for educated unemployed youth, grant of compensation for the losses suffered by the community due to damages to their properties in Kashmir Valley, release of encroachments but after taking over the Government Chief Minister Mufti Mohd. Syeed has failed to meet its commitments.
Others who were presents in the meeting included Shiban Ji Raina, Kashi Nath Bhat, Bansi Lal Bhat, Tej Krishen, Piaray Lal, Hari Krishank and others.
