JAMMU, Oct 28: Gangyal police arrested a notorious criminal, who was evading his arrest for the past few months.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Gangyal police station conducted raid in Babliana area of Satwari and nabbed a notorious criminal.
The accused has been identified as Sunny Singh alias Sunny, son of Faquir Singh, a resident of Babliana, Satwari.
He was wanted in two cases of attempt to murder and was also a history sheeter of police station Satwari.
The accused was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 37/15 under Section 307, 147, 148, 323 RPC and 4/25 and 3/25 Arms Act with police station Gangyal.
Further investigation into the cases registered against the accused is going on.
Police team led by SHO Gangyal police station Inspector Ajay Jamwal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Sachin Gupta, Additional SP South Shehzad Salaria, SP South Uday Bhaskar Billa and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
