2 students booked for raising pro-Pak slogans

RAJOURI, Oct 30: Two students of a Government Higher Secondary School at Sailsui in Kalakote were booked for allegedly raising pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans in district Rajouri.
Sources said that around eight students of a particular community studying at Government Higher Secondary School in Sailsui village raised pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans after they came out of their classes at around 4 pm last evening. There was election for the Class Representative of 12th. Two students from both the communities were contesting. While student of minority community got elected. The students from other community had some tiff with the other group and then they resorted to raising anti-India slogans at the schools gate.
Today morning a large number of people along with students reached the school and forced the closure of the school and asked the principal Anil Kumar to take action against those who raised pro-Pak slogans.
Situation became explosive and SHO Kalakote and Tehsildar reached the spot. They talked to the agitating people and assured action. Later, they identified at least eight boys and an FIR was lodged at Police Station Kalakote. Two of them were identified from school record as Shafat Ali and Ishtiaq Ahmed. The police has started search for the boys booked as they were absconding.
