SAMBA, Oct 31: One 82 mm live mortar shell has been defused by BSF in village Challarian today.
According to a BSF spokesman today at 1100 hours one 82 mm live mortar shell was found by Mohinder Kumar son of Gain Chand in village Challarian in Samba district.
Kumar saw the mortar shell while he was working in his fields and he informed the same to 9th Battalion BSF at Border Out Post (BOP) Challarian. The BSF Jawans took the bomb into their custody and later defused it.
