UDHAMPUR, Oct 31: Two persons  sustained minor injuries when a group of three trucks moving in wrong tube on Bhattal-Ballian Bye-pass road in Udhampur led to some disturbance  in a marriage party, this evening.
Heated exchange of words soon turned into a scuffle  in which   one Navdeep Singh and Imtiaz Ahmed sustained minor injuries. The incident also disrupted traffic on the National Highway for around an hour.
However, timely intervention of the Police pacified the situation and  restored smooth vehicular movement on the road.
As more than 200 Kashmir bound trucks are stranded  on Bye-pass in wake of  downward movement  to facilitate  Darbar Move vehicles  from Kashmir to Jammu,  three trucks moving towards Kashmir entered into wrong tube and after more than two  kilometers drive on the National Highway,  obstructed a local party which led to  minor scuffle.
DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Surinder Gupta personally visited the spot and monitored  clearance of traffic. Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary also took stock of the situation and issued necessary instructions for adherence of traffic advisories to avoid any trouble.
