JAMMU, Nov 2: 126 Bn of BSF organized a Civic Action Programme at Government Boy High School Bengalar and distributed computer items, uniforms, stationery, desks, furniture and books etc.
Scores of people and students from village Keso, Koulpur, Ben Galar and Kamour etc participated in the programme, which was chaired by Hari Lal, Commandant, 126 Bn.
On the occasion, school students were distributed free of cost items, like Computer with printer, computer table, chair, UPS, School uniform, Jersey woolen, Wooden desk with bench, books and stationary items in presence of civil dignitary from local villages.
Earlier, two newly constructed toilet complexes were dedicated by 126 Bn BSF to Govt Girls High School Bengalar. The response of the local population was excellent.
Civil population urged the Border Security Force to organize more such progarmmes in future.
Commandant Hari Lal asked the border population to come forward with their valuable ideas, which can be implemented for better management and for betterment of their living standards. He urged border population to share information about any stranger unknown person visiting their villages immediately so that prompt action can be taken by BSF to save precious life’s. The Commandant also requested to all villagers present at the venue to give their support to the BSF as and when any construction work, like construction of link road undertaken in Border area.
At the end, vote of thanks was presented by Rampal, Sarpanch village Ben Galar.
