JWAM activists hold protest against traffic problems

JAMMU, Nov 2: The activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement under the leadership of the president Sunil Dimple held protest against the worst traffic problems in Jammu city and West constituency, today.
Addressing the protesters Sunil Dimple criticized the BJP-PDP Government and alleged total failure of the sitting MLAs and MP of the Jammu to redress the traffic problem and badly failed to get started the construction work of the flyovers at Rehari Chungi and Jewal Chowk.
Dimple alleged that the Government has no traffic plan for the Jammu city and is misleading the people of Jammu with hollow assurances without doing anything on the ground.
He questioned the delay on the start of constructing flyovers in city and asked for spelling out traffic control plan for the Jammu city.
Dimple demanded for construction of alternative four way circular road from Amphalla  Manda to High Court  Janipur, to  Roop Nagar, Bantalab  and from Jewal Chowk to Talab Tillo via Bhagwati Nagar- Canal Road to reduce the traffic rush problem.
Dimple demanded the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to come in the State with big package for the making smart Jammu region, fly overs, circular express roads and starting metro-mono rails in the Jammu connecting the adjoining towns of Samba, Akhnoor, Udhmpur, Nagrota, Dansal, RS Pura, Gangyal and Bari Brahmna.
Other present in the rally were Sham Saroop Gupta, Ramesh Chander Kohli, Ashok Khanna, Vinod Suri, Harbans Tondon, Som Nath,  Raman Gupta, Bansi Lal, Munna Dogra, Dev Raj, Roky Kapahi etc.
