JAMMU, Nov 3: A meeting of Provincial Body of Social Welfare and Mission ICDS Non Gazetted Employees Association was held here today under the chairmanship of Umar Jan Bhat its provincial president for Jammu in which various problems being faced by ICDS employees were discussed.
As per a release, the non payment of salaries of the employees was the main demand of the employees.
The meeting expressed concern that employees working under new pension scheme have not been paid salaries for last six months now. Similarly the salary of the employees working in ICDS Sector is pending for last three months and the concerned authorities were asked to release the pending salary at an earliest.
The issue of framing of seniority list of supervisors of ICDS which is pending since 2004 was also discussed and meting decided to take up the matter with State Mission Director.
The meeting among others was attended by Mohit Bharti, Khursheed Ahmed, Chand Narayan Bangroo,Arti Sharma, Joginder Pal, Farida Banoo, Nisar Hussain, Rajesh Mehra and Javed Iqbal.
