UDHAMPUR, Nov 3: A youth was electrocuted when he came in contact with a live wire while standing on a moving truck.
The deceased, identified as Wasim Ahmad Dar (31), son of Rasool Dar of Handwara, Kupwara, was working as cleaner with the truck PB07N/7741, on which he was standing.
The truck was on way from Punjab to Kashmir when the mishap took place near Dhar Road Round Domail. The victim was rushed to the District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later, dead body of the deceased was handed over after postmortem. A case in this regard was also registered at Round Domail Police Post.
