Poor BSNL service irks Reasi people

REASI, Nov 4: The extremely poor service of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in district Reasi is irking the common customers, who have been suffering because of insensitive and fleecing attitude of this Government owned telecom service providing company.
Ever since the launching of BSNL service in Reasi, there has been complaints of poor signal but nothing was done by the concerned authorities to improve the same. While the entire world is experiencing better telecommunication with each and every passing day,   the trend is reverse in Reasi, said a local.
A number of BSNL subscribers in Katra, Vaishno Devi Bhawan, Pouni, Ransoo, Mahore and other areas approached the Daily Excelsior office and narrated how they were facing difficulties because of poor BSNL signal. “If somebody wants to make call, it doesn’t work and after continuous trying for hours together, call hardly gets connected. The situation gets more worse if the person receiving call is not able to hear the voice of caller. Then you have to make the call to talk to the same person and thus have to pay twice,” explained a local of Pouni.
Lashing out at BSNL authorities for not improving the service, the subscribers threatened to surrender their connections and write to higher authorities in this regard.
