KATRA, Nov 4: Police arrested a woman bootlegger and seized 20 pouches of Excise liquor from her possession.
The accused, identified as Suman Sharma, estranged wife of Sunil Sharma of Seela Panasa, was intercepted by a Police Party of PCP Seerli (Katra), during checking/frisking at PCP Seerli. From her possession, Police recovered 20 poly pouches of Excise liquor, which she was smuggling for illegal sale in the holy town.
During investigation, it was established that this woman bootlegger was a divorcee. A case FIR No. 176/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC has been registered in this connection at Police Station Katra.
